1. How are teacher’s characteristics to
young learners?
Answer : Teacher should have least one
ability to make an effective learning ability such as drawing, singing,etc.
2. How do teachers build physical
surrounding to YL?
Answer : Teacher can put as much as possible
on the walls – a calendar, posters, drawing, song lyrics, etc. Have a simple
plants, animal figure, cartoon figure craft, and anything which add character
to the room but still leave a space for you and learners to learning.
3. How do teachers arrange the desk in
YL classroom?
Answer : There a three types of desk arrangement.
Types A also allows you to do paired work easily and gives you
room in the middle of the class for more general activities. Types B does not
encourage natural communication because students can only see the back of the
student's head in front of them, so it does not conform to Setting A for language
work. Types C works the same way as Setting B, but is more flexible and makes
you have space in the middle of the class.
4. How the teachers group the YL?
Answer : By doing a pair work, Limit the numbers in the group to between three and five.
5. How is classroom language used in YL
classroom ?
Answer
: teacher
should give a simple vocabularies or simple phrases to YL.
