So in the video explanation from the mother regarding "teaching listening to young learners" I can conclude that listening is important for young learners as mentioned in "Theories (Paul 2003)" that it is important for children to listen to as much English as possible. and the implementation of listening activity at classroom can teach listen first or read first depending on the needs of the conditions. so want to listen first is also okay as long as what he needs is listening first, and vice versa. that's what I caught from the listening activity implementation section at the classroom that you explained. and the application of listening to young learners will be more effective and easier to understand if done with a game, as mother explained about the game "Bingo game", "Chopstick Spelling game", "Bingo grid" and "Word Searching dictaction". it will really help young learners in learning to listen.
